Exposed Brick Interiors
Exposed brick is such a fabulous thing. If you’re lucky enough to live in a house where, behind the plaster, lurks a beautiful brick wall then why not bring it out! Brick is wonderful because its good with water, heat, its pretty hard waring and it looks fabulous!
Now, I live in what looks like a brick house, but sadly I suspect the inner layer is breeze block or similar, so now such luck for me. Sally however, lives in a beautiful old house that although now is in the middle of town, was once a farm cottage. Sally stripped back one wall of her dining room and the effect is fantastic! She found that there once had been another door which had been bricked up, which also looks fab. I’m a little jealous I have to admit.
Anyway… so we’ve been looking for some exposed brick fabulousness and we thought we’d pull it all together into an inspiration post for you. Don’t forget to also check out our Exposed Brick Pinterest Board for more, constantly growing inspiration.
Enjoy.
