White Rooms and White Walls

White is the complete absence of colour according to colour theory, but that can’t be true, there’s bright white, off white, cream, pale grey… yes I know, not white, but to me these variants are what make white work! You can go for white white everywhere and for some styles that totally works, but for me it works best when you mix up your whites.

Here are a few of our favourites white rooms from a recent Instagram theme. Enjoy!

It’s funny how white can make you feel. When I look at rooms like this I just feel a sense of bliss arrive. I think it’s because I would love to have that whole Parisian chic experiences a beautiful white apartment.

Do you remember this from the Great Gatsby. Those flowing white curtains. They just get me. They make me melt. They make me dream. They can make me feel the summer breeze, smell the warmth of a late summers evening.

For some reason I have always wanted a round shower curtain rail. Attached to the ceiling with free standing bath in the middle of the room. I for some reason see this as being really romantic. I don’t know why as the reality is the flipping things get stuck to you and I for sure don’t have a big bathroom. So for those with a neat little bathroom this is rather lovely. That’s how to do white I’d say. ?bathroomandshop
