At Green and Mustard we do love a midcentury piece of furniture. Both of our houses feature some lucky finds and sought out gems from eBay, vintage markets and also the odd charity shop!  From sideboards to west german pottery lamps and of course the not-so-humble dining table. I am very very lucky indeed to be the proud owner of a dining set by Hans Olsen, so of course my number one is this beauty.  The tables on our list are in no particular order but have all caught our eye over the last few months… here we go, the best dining tables available to buy…

Vintage Hans Olsen Dining Set

Mid century dinning set with extendable table and six matching chairs by Hans Olsen.  This is a vintage find so unable to give exact prices or where to purchase. This version has the four legged chairs.  And if your lucky enough  and stumble across one with the three legged chairs then quick snap it up!

Herringbone is back, this stunning dinning table with its brass geometric bass, conjures up memories of school days.  An eye catching table, wheres it from I here you gasp. Well its the Dutchbone Class Dining table from Cuckoo Land.

Our last table has seen a resurgence lately – the good old slab of wood! They can be hand made with any legs you chose from the good old hair pin to a base that you already have. I’ve seen these tables on Etsy and various other sites.  I think a trip to the wood yard would be the place to go and then you would be able to pick the perfect piece to suits your needs.
