Our favourite crockery of the moment

Getting a group together to meet over a home cooked meal is just what the doctor ordered in the cold winter months. We like to get the dinner on and then pop out for a quick walk to build an appetite. You then come home to the warm and the smell of a dinner ready to be eaten! Heaven.

To add to the pleasure, there has to be a gorgeous table setting. Nice plates, shining glassware and polished cutlery. Maybe even ironed napkins if you’re lucky! Table placings are a work of art and really good fun to put together.

I’ve always been a fan of white crockery but just recently I’ve been tempted by the gorgeous coloured and patterned crockery I’ve seen available and I thought I’d take you through what I’m considering…

Tropical Table settings from

Crockery

HandM Home

This Season H&M and a fabulous range of tableware including this beautifully exotic range. We love the floral botanical table cloth and accent dishes and plates. In typical H&M style, they’re beautiful and well made but affordable too! Starting from just £6.99 per item.

Anthropologie

Soft Pastel Delights

To be honest, there isn’t much on Anthropologie that I don’t love, but I really like their range of pastel coloured crockery at the moment. There are a few different styles and I think they’d look great with mix-and-match colours to suit your palette.

The layered look

Layering mix-and-match crockery is right up my street! I love the look you get some different size plates overlapping and it also allows you to throw in some colour without being too in your face. Zara has some lovely crockery ranges but these caught my eye…

H&M Home

…again.. sorry but its lovely!

I really like this black paint spatter effect range of crockery from H&M home. They have lots of different sizes and they’re all a bit different so they work really well together.
